Sweet and spicy shrimp


 Whether you’re planning a soirée or simply looking to elevate your weekday meals this sweet and spicy shrimp will check all of your boxes. These bottom feeders pair beautifully with freshly sliced bread as a flavourful side, or appetizer that is sure to leave you or your guests begging for more.

ingredients:

- 1 pound tiger shrimp

-2 tablespoon of butter

-2 tablespoons of olive oil

-2 tablespoons of sweet chilli jam

-1 teaspoon liquid smoke

-1 teaspoon paprika

-1 teaspoon chilli powder

-1 teapoon oregono (dried)

-1.5 tablespoons of lemon juice

-2 teaspoons garlic powder

-2 tablespoons chopped parsley

-1 tablespoon Worcheshire sauce

-salt and pepper to taste

-2 teaspoons hot sauce (can use more or less depending on preference)

Directions:

step 1: peel and devein shrimp if your shrimp is not pre peeled and deveined

step2: Add all ingredients to a skillet, stir to combine everything and simmer for about 7 minutes

step3: remove your skillet from the heat and allow it to cool 

step4: toss in your shrimp making sure the shrimp is completely coated in the sauce 

Step5: cover skillet wit foil and referidgerate for half an hour

step 6: preheat oven to 400F or 204C 

step7: put skillet in the preheated oven and cook for 15 minutes 

step 8: best served straight out of the oven
